For almost a decade, I worked as a manager of a private contracted office of El Paso County Tax Assessor/Collector. Through the years, I have gained the knowledge and experience needed to understand the needs of our residents, our taxpayers, our county tax employees and car dealerships. Those who work on the daily with the office of the county tax assessor collector. As a proud El Pasoan, I have dedicated myself to be a strong voice for the improvement of our community. For people like you and me.
Currently, I serve as a member on the committee of advisors for the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles Title and Registration Advisory Board, the City of El Paso Museums and Cultural Affairs Advisory Board and the City of El Paso Public Art Committee. I have been an active member of the El Paso County Democratic Party, the Westside Democrats of El Paso and the El Paso County United Way Young Leaders Society. I now feel that the time has come for me to do more in the forward progress of our community by seeking elected office.
I want to be your El Paso County Tax Assessor/Collector. I want to bring fresh ideas and positive solutions to the office. I want to educate and inform our residents on the services and benefits of our office. I believe there are workable solutions that will enhance our county tax office and its relationship with its employees and with the public. I have been working hard in preparation for this. This campaign is not about me. It is about us. But I cannot do it alone. This is why I am turning to you, the people, I invite you to get involved in my campaign.
Let’s move forward – together.
